1. What Find Me Job is
Find Me Job is a noticeboard. We publish job posts submitted by users and let other users find them. That is the entire service.
We are not an employer, an employment agency, a recruiter, a staffing firm, a contractor, or a party to any agreement you reach with someone else through this site. We do not supervise, direct, or guarantee any work, and we are not a payment processor.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use this site, and old enough under the law where you live to enter the agreements you make through it. By using Find Me Job you confirm that you are.
3. No account, and what that means
The site works without registration. Anyone can post, and we generally cannot verify who posted what. Please factor that into how much you trust a listing — and read the safety guide, which explains the checks worth making.
4. Your responsibilities when posting
You are solely responsible for what you post, and you agree that it will be accurate, lawful, and yours to publish. Specifically, you agree not to post:
- Anything illegal, or work that would require a licence, permit, certification, or insurance that the intended worker does not hold.
- False or misleading listings, invented budgets, or bait-and-switch offers.
- Another person's contact details, or personal information about anyone but yourself.
- Advance-fee schemes, payment-forwarding or money-transfer requests, cheque-cashing arrangements, multi-level marketing, "business opportunities", or anything requiring the other party to pay to begin.
- Adult or sexual services.
- Content that discriminates on the basis of race, colour, ancestry, place of origin, citizenship, ethnic origin, creed or religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, marital or family status, or disability — or that is otherwise unlawful in a job advertisement where you are.
- Harassing, threatening, hateful, defamatory, or deliberately deceptive content.
- Spam, duplicated listings, advertising unrelated to a specific job, or anything posted primarily to drive traffic elsewhere.
- Malware, phishing links, or content that infringes anyone's copyright or trademark.
You also agree not to scrape the site, to harvest contact details for bulk marketing, to use automated tools to submit listings, or to interfere with the operation of the site or the advertising it carries.
5. Your content stays yours
You keep ownership of everything you post. By submitting a listing you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, and distribute it for the purpose of operating and promoting the site. You can end that licence by having the listing removed — ask us.
You confirm you have the right to grant that licence, and that publishing your listing won't infringe anyone else's rights.
6. Moderation
We do not pre-screen listings, and we are not obliged to monitor them. We do, however, reserve the right to remove any listing, refuse any submission, or block any user, at our discretion and without notice — particularly where something breaks these terms, looks fraudulent, or puts someone at risk. Removing a listing is not an admission that we owe you anything, and declining to remove one is not an endorsement of it.

7. Arrangements between users are yours alone
Any agreement you reach with another user — the work, the schedule, the price, the payment method, and everything that happens in the course of it — is a private arrangement between the two of you. We are not a party to it.
This means we are not responsible for, and give no warranty about: whether work is performed, the quality or safety of it, whether anyone gets paid, whether either party turns out to be who they said, whether a person holds any licence, qualification, or insurance they claim, or any loss, injury, damage, theft, or dispute arising from a job arranged here. You accept those risks yourself. Doing your own checks is not optional.
8. Beta status
The site is under active development and is provided as-is. Features may change, break, or disappear. Job posts are stored on our servers and shown publicly. We may hold a post for review, decline it, or take it down at any time, and every listing expires 45 days after it is posted. We make no promise that a listing will be preserved, delivered, seen, or answered.
9. Advertising
The site carries third-party advertising, which is what keeps it free to use. We don't control which ads appear and we don't endorse advertisers or their products. Your dealings with an advertiser are between you and them. See the privacy policy for how advertising cookies work and how to control them.
10. Our intellectual property
The Find Me Job name, design, layout, code, and written guidance on this site belong to us and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy or reuse them beyond normal personal use of the site without our permission. User listings are excluded — those belong to the people who wrote them.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that listings are accurate or lawful. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Find Me Job and anyone operating it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, lost income, lost data, personal injury, or property damage arising from your use of the site or from any interaction or arrangement with another user.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to CAD $100. Since the site is free to use, this reflects the fact that you have paid us nothing.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Find Me Job and its operators from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of what you post, your use of the site, your breach of these terms, or any dispute between you and another user.
14. Third-party links
The site links to pages we don't control, including in advertising and in user listings. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above, and material changes will be flagged on the site. Continuing to use Find Me Job after a change means you accept the revised terms.
16. Termination
You can stop using the site at any time. We may suspend or withdraw access to it, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice. Sections 5 through 13 survive any termination.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada. The courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where the consumer-protection law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
